Description: It is renascent growing at rocky soil on high mountain area: height 10~20cm; thick rhizome, taper shape, brown-yellow, fibrous root at upper part; short and thick rootstalk, column shape, leaves as squamae; several scapes from axil at top of stem, leaves at whole stem, oval leaf with saw tooth-shaped at edge and wedge-shaped at base, no stem almost, cyme growing at top, red flower, follicle fruit.
Traditional Usage: In application of traditional Chinese medical science, it is mainly to invigorate the circulation of blood, get hemostasia, clean lung and relieve cough, cure hemoptysis, pneumonia and leucorrhea.
